Why it works
More buying power,
less out of pocket.

HSA and FSA accounts use pre-tax dollars. That means every dollar you spend from them goes further — effectively saving you a percentage equal to your tax rate. Gym Native is Truemed-verified, so your membership qualifies.

Three simple steps

How It Works

Getting reimbursed through your HSA or FSA is straightforward. Here's the process:

01

Complete the Survey

Take a short health survey through Truemed. A licensed provider reviews your answers to determine eligibility. A one-time $30 fee applies if you qualify.

02

Join Gym Native

Sign up for your membership using your regular payment method — credit or debit card. Nothing changes about how you pay us.

03

Get Reimbursed

Submit your receipt and your Letter of Medical Necessity to your HSA or FSA administrator. They reimburse you from your pre-tax account.

Ready to Save?

The survey takes just a few minutes. If you qualify, you'll receive a Letter of Medical Necessity you can use to submit for reimbursement every year.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about using your HSA/FSA at Gym Native.

Does my membership actually qualify for HSA/FSA?

Gym Native is verified by Truemed, a licensed platform that connects fitness businesses with HSA/FSA spending. Eligibility is determined by a licensed provider based on your health survey responses.

What is the $30 fee for?

Truemed charges a one-time $30 fee for a licensed provider to review your health survey and issue your Letter of Medical Necessity. This is separate from your membership cost.

How do I actually pay for my membership?

You pay for your Gym Native membership with your regular debit or credit card as usual. Then you submit your receipt and Letter of Medical Necessity to your HSA/FSA administrator to get reimbursed.

How much can I actually save?

Because HSA and FSA dollars are pre-tax, your effective savings equal your tax rate — typically around 20-35%. Truemed members save an average of 30%.

Do I need to renew each year?

Yes — your Letter of Medical Necessity is valid for one year. Truemed will remind you when it's time to renew so you never miss out on savings.

Gym Native has partnered with Truemed to offer HSA/FSA eligibility verification. All medical determinations are made by licensed providers through the Truemed platform.
